War
All I do is live in fear
Every day I shed a tear
When I wake up to someone dying,
I automatically begin crying.
“BANG!” shouted the gun
Now we must run
When the gun yelled, “BOOM!”
It was time for doom.
All that the soldiers do is fight,
There is not a star in sight.
The air is filled with dust
Like a plague- I feel disgust

Scary Night
Scary night is a funny book.
It makes me laugh and cry at the same time.
It really touches my heart and puts a smile on my face and it’s really cute.
The theme of scary night is comedy, joy and feeling special.

Once on a scary night, three friends set out on a journey but where were they going,
tip toe creeping in the pale moonlight?

I would recommend this book from ages 5yrs and adults

Stuff Happens : Jack
Tony Wilson has written a wonderful book Called jack from the series Stuff happens.

The book is about Jack who breaks his arm and lies, blaming the wrong boy.
Then he finds out the struggles the boy is going through and he finally wants to tell the truth after finding out the struggles.

The theme of the book is about friends and the lesson is about being truthful.
I recommend all ages to this because it has a life lesson and is also funny.

The Day the Crayons Quit
I read “The Day the Crayons Quit” with Mrs LeMerle and the class.
It really entertained me and I wanted to read more.

The Day the Crayons Quit is about a boy named Duncan who had a packet of crayons.
Duncan loved colouring and used his crayons a lot.
This book has lots of funny sentences and makes you want to giggle.

This book is entertaining and easy to read.
It’s very creative and many children will love to read it.
I recommend everyone should read this book no matter how old you are! Hope you enjoy!

My two blankets
My two blankets is a lovely book. I love cartwheel.
If you read the story I’m sure you will agree with me.
The book is about a young girl who comes to a new country
and doesn’t know anything but then she meets a beautiful young girl.

I think that the message in the book is to not be afraid and just dream.
I also think that the theme is on family and friends.

I would personally recommend this book for all ages because picture books are awesome
and I love this one – hope you do too. Oh and one last comment
– this book is very easy to get attached to so you might not want to stop reading it.

Thelma the unicorn
Thelma the unicorn by Aaron Blabey is a very funny book.
Thelma the unicorn is a book about a horse who wished with all her heart that she would become a unicorn.

This book celebrates friendship and love.
The lesson that is sent through this book is that no matter who you are,
always believe in yourself and never try to be like anyone else.

I recommend this book for all ages because I know you will enjoy it as much as I did.
