MCHF exists to support parents in the education of their children. The College therefore values this partnership that it has with its parents. We aim to provide this education within the Maronite Tradition.

Parents who intend to enrol their children at the College are asked to make an appointment to see the College Executive Principal, Sr Margaret Ghosn, who will then determine their suitability for enrolment at the College.

Parents of prospective enrolments for Kindergarten are asked to bring to the interview Birth Certificates, Baptismal Certificates and Immunisation Certificates. The children will also undergo a series of basic assessments in literacy and numeracy. Pre-school attendance is desirable.

Students wishing to enrol in the primary in classes other than Kindergarten are asked to bring with them the above certificates as well as copies of their most recent reports from their current schools.

Secondary enrolments are determined largely by satisfactory reports from the student’s current school. Other matters which can determine enrolment include availability of spaces, and, in the case of Year 11 students, a satisfactory pattern of School Certificate grades. NAPLAN results are compulsory documents for determining enrolment by students outside the College.

Students seeking enrolment coming from overseas are often asked to spend a period of time at the Intensive Language Centre to improve their facility in English. Their enrolment will only be completed on the receipt of advice from the ILC.

Students moving from Year 6 into Year 7 and from Year 10 into Year 11 will undergo a process of re-enrolment to determine progress. Academic results and behavioural records will be used to determine this.

The Enrolment Period is from 1st March to 30th November each year.
