Year 12 embark on a journey to complete their Higher School Certificate. It involves various College assessments as well as assessments that need to be submitted to the Board of Studies. It is a journey that involves hard work and dedication. Term Four is when the HSC course begins and it ends at the end of Term Three. Students sit a Trial HSC Exam right at the beginning of Term Three which gives them a taste of how the HSC exams will be like in October. Years 12 also become leaders of the College and role models to the junior years.
During Pastoral sessions are conducted for students targeting specifically studying techniques, time management, career opportunities and personal and social development. Guest Speakers are invited from various Universities such as UTS, Sydney University, ACU and various colleges such as Kenvale College of Hospitality. Students are given opportunities to apply for various scholarships and have been quite successful this year. Past students have also come back to the College to inspire current Year 12 students to set high expectations and to talk about life at university.
