Over the course of the year, our students are involved in an Inter-House Sport competition to accumulate points for their respective house groups. Students form teams within year groups and house colours to compete in the following sports:
- European Handball
- Offside Touch Football
- Ultimate Frisbee
Year 7 and 8 participate in a compulsory Learn to Swim program which goes for 8 weeks.
Representative sport is played over three seasons. Students try-out for the various representative teams and competition for places in these teams is fierce and brings out the best in our students.
The representative sports which our College form teams include: Basketball, Touch Football, Volleyball, Rugby League, AFL, Soccer, Netball, Cricket, Oz-Tag and Ultimate Frisbee.
Gala Days & Carnivals:
Maronite College of the Holy Family has three major sporting events per year: Swimming Carnival, Athletics Carnival and the College Walkathon.
Maronite College of the Holy Family also participates in the PDSSSC (Parramatta Diocese Senior School Sport Council) competition, carnivals and gala days. This competition provides a pathway for our students to represent in their chosen sport at a higher level.
